- As a local, URA matches the negotiated reimbursement for eyeglasses and contacts for members and dependents.
- URA negotiated the right to take Rutgers Defensive Driving class on Rutgers – not personal – time. As an incentive, the local covers the cost of the class. This typically leads to a discount from your car insurance provider.
- Our international union, the American Federation of Teachers, has hundreds of offerings under the AFT+ category and AFL-CIO unions have access to Union+ programs.
