URA Contract Expired June 30; What Does That Mean For You?

organize

Since our contract expired, we currently have no raise scheduled for FY27 until we negotiate and ratify our successor contract. All other protections (except for Article 61 – Self-Initiated In-Grade Salary Adjustment Pilot Program) in the contract remain in place while we fight for a raise.

If you want a raise and other strong protections and improvements to your working conditions, join us in actions to demonstrate our collective strength and diverse and pervasive presence across all campuses. We have won restoration of state budget dollars to fund programs where we work (see next article). This takes away one of the reasons Rutgers uses when they claim there is not enough money to pay fair raises.

Together, we win when we stand together and make demands. Not one of us works alone, we are interdependent to serve our programs, our students, our faculty, and our communities.
