The AFT offers more than 40 member benefit programs to help members and add value to union membership. Some of these programs are directly managed by the AFT; some are through Union Privilege, the benefit arm of the AFL-CIO. These programs offer special features not available to non-members.
URA also offers several direct benefits as a local, including vision care reimbursement, access and reimbursement for defensive driving as a contractual right (which should save money on car insurance), local scholarships and a member relief fund.
