Nominees must be signed members in good standing. For any questions, please read the URA-AFT Constitution, Article VI “Nomination and Election Procedures.”
Nominees: Please make every effort to be present in person at the nomination meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024; or if unable to attend the meeting to accept a nomination, you must submit an acceptance of nomination in writing by 4 pm, Monday, September 16 here. Any eligible member may nominate themselves or another eligible member. Please refer to Article VI, Section II, items “a – e” of the URA-AFT Constitution. All nominees (submitted online or in person) must have a second for their nomination in the membership meeting to move forward in the election process.
After being nominated, nominees will be contacted by the Elections Committee to complete an acceptance form and have their eligibility certified. After receiving acceptance forms and certification, all candidates will receive election guidelines.
Election voting will be held online via ElectionRunner Thursday, November 7 @ 9 am – Tuesday, November 12, 2024 @ 5 pm.
