NorthJersey.com reports that New Jersey has one of the highest student loan repayment total in the country, according to WalletHub, a personal finance company that analyzed that latest consumer data and compared the median student loan payments nationwide.
The Garden State tied for fifth with New York, as college graduates pay on average $209 monthly in student loan debt, according to the study, which provides a stark contrast between states with the highest burdens and others where student loan debt dips to $142 a month, the site reported.
