Whether you’re entirely new to working at Rutgers University or moving into a new position, it is important that you understand your rights and learn about member benefits. We support one another in our work lives at Rutgers and understand how the university operates like no one else does. This will be a short introduction to anyone new to our union covering what you should know about your contractual rights (including during probation), understanding when to ask for union representation and how to take advantage of the many local and national benefits of union membership.
